Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies are, which cookies PixViral uses, and how you can control them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember preferences, and to gather information about how a site is used. Similar technologies such as local storage are covered by this policy too.

2. Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for PixViral to function and cannot be switched off through our settings. They include:

  • Session cookie. A standard PHP session cookie that keeps the site working correctly during your visit.
  • Security token. A token used by the contact form to protect against cross-site request forgery.

These cookies do not track you and are not used for advertising.

3. Analytics cookies

We use a web analytics service to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use PixViral — for example which tools are used most. Analytics cookies help count visits and measure traffic so we can improve the site. The information is collected in a summarised form.

4. Advertising cookies

PixViral is funded by advertising. Our advertising partners may set cookies to measure the performance of ads and, where you have consented, to show ads that are more relevant to you. Where required by law, a consent prompt lets you accept or manage these cookies before they are used.

5. Managing cookies

You are in control of cookies. You can manage them in two main ways:

  • Consent prompt. If a consent banner is shown to you, you can use it to accept or refuse non-essential cookies, and to change your choice later.
  • Browser settings. Every major browser lets you view, block or delete cookies. Look in your browser's privacy or settings menu. Blocking all cookies may affect how some websites work.

6. More information

For more on how we handle data generally, see our Privacy Policy. If you have questions about cookies on PixViral, contact us at [email protected].
